Pipe
Fittings are of many types and sizes and fittings here means that they are used
for fitting the pipe. They can be easily used in every kind of engineering and
construction plants for Oil & Gas, Marine projects as well.
These
fittings when used in the oil & gas industry they are basically used to
strengthen the joints of the pipes & steel because the pipes are used for
drilling purpose because the flow of oil is so fast that it needs the clamp and
flange to make the flow easy and to balance the alignment of the pipes.
These
fittings, especially the high pressure pipe fittings are mostly used in the refineries where they require seamless pipes
which means pipes that don’t have any leakage the reason for that is the oil
drilling is being done in the river and gas pipelines are setup under the muddy
areas.
To
avoid the dust particles to enter the gas pipeline and to avoid the flow of
water mix with the oil pipeline the pipe fittings are used. High pressure pipe
fittings are mostly used and recommended by the engineers.
